The California Medical Association Foundation, the California Pan-Ethnic Health Network and the Network of Ethnic Physician Organizations invites you to a LUNCH briefing on health issues impacting communities of color.

Join us for panel discussions on issues that will be facing the legislature this year that impact our diverse communities. Learn who the ‘go-to’ experts are on these issues, including doctors and community organizations. We will give you tools to help you understand emerging health issues and contacts for building community support for solutions to improve our health.

Roundtable participants will include CPEHN’s ethnic partner organizations, the Asian and Pacific Islander American Health Forum, the California Black Health Network, the California Rural Indian Health Board, and the Latino Coalition for a Healthy California, as well as distinguished doctors in the Network of Ethnic Physician Organizations. Topics will include:  Health care financing, Medi-Cal, pay for performance, workforce diversity, language access, and the obesity/diabetes epidemic.
