CPEHN is horrified by the racist acts of violence that occurred in Buffalo, NY on Saturday, as well as the shootings in Laguna Woods, CA and Dallas, TX, which appear to have been motivated by hate. Our deepest sympathies go out to the victims, the families, and the communities. Racism and gun violence are two of the greatest public health threats we face. Continuing to allow these threats to fester and grow is a moral outrage. We call on all levels of government to act with urgency and courage.
